Money isn't real. I just spent $20 clicking around onchain and got nothing tangible from it. - launched a shitter on InkyPump - Bought some shitters on InkyPump - LPed on Velodrome - Staked on Dinero - Minted some commemorative NFTs - Bridged things on Orbiter - LPed some more on Reservoir Overall, I signed a bunch of transactions, spent gas, and invested all too little to get any meaningful rewards. There's got to be a better way to reward users and onboard them into an ecosystem than boring, meaningless tasks. Its either got to be fun or impactful ROI for effort like running nodes or something. Brb going to go play Persona 5 now.

Airdrops are a dying mechanism. Especially for infra. Community token distribution will move back to being gradual over time. Airdrops started as a novel marketing mechanism that created a lot of buzz. Now project teams are hyperfixated that this is the only way to distribute community tokens at tge. This has resulted in supply side tokenomics engineering that leads to fud, confusion, lack of transparency, and puts a lot of supply into circulation at tge. I think soon token launches will have a big shift away from airdrops and it will be better for projects and their communities.
