gm, a quick public heads up about $farc today i noticed people ran into two critical issues around $farc activity and i want to get ahead of the confusion: first tx the broken buy/sell path: i noticed people can’t buy and sell $farc from uniswap (v4 + v4 hooks only), farcaster wallet, or even clanker frontend. and it is because someone spun up a v4 pool that’s extremely unfavorable for users (both buyers and sellers). net result is some people ended up buying and selling for 99.9% less than expected inside the app. insane! and then labeling bug: hedgey finance lock txs are being shown as “sells” in farcaster wallet under my personal transactions tab. when you tap the tx, it opens an empty sheet, so there’s no useful detail to verify what actually happened. it was a lock, not a sell, you can verify it here: https://basescan.org/tx/0xe8302ba16c2e6c0afa19d4d26982c218904923082af5d4f9e6743169505783ff important: i did not sell or “drain” anyone, even though some people are accusing me of exactly that. the wild part is that 100% of these tokens were airdropped by me as pre-tge goodwill. nobody bought them with cash. and still, somehow, a few people decided the story is “i scammed them.” final: i’ve reported these issues to @dish and @horsefacts.eth. once we have a concrete outcome or fix, i’ll post an update. until then, please be cautious and double check what you’re buying, especially around v4 pools and anything that looks like a “sell” in wallet ui. happy new year! farc.io
