The rise of DAOs has been one of the most intriguing aspects of the Web3 revolution, but the execution has been far from perfect. Projects like Aave, MakerDAO, and Compound have shown promise, but they still rely on a small group of active participants. As DAOs evolve, will we see broader mass participation or a continuing trend toward smaller, more engaged communities? Could DAOs scale to the point of managing truly large-scale projects like global supply chains, or will they remain the domain of niche communities and niche projects?
