In 1913, Ford Motor Company developed the world's first assembly line, which brought the total number of T-cars to 15 million, setting an unprecedented world record (later broken by the Volkswagen Beetle with a cumulative record of 20 million). Mr. Ford is revered as the person who puts wheels on the world for this.
