The new claude desktop is pretty darn good. Also the new cursor agents window is pretty darn good. Also, they look pretty similar. Convergent evolution?

Just pushed out a new build of @ripsapp to fix an issue with the Swap Tool when used in the Base app. I still don't see the point in Base removing support for farcaster.json miniapps, anyone know if there is something behind the schism between Base and Farcaster?

I've been using an unholy mix of notion and temporary text documents to track tasks, notes, scratch pad ideas etc. This was fine when the pace of work was limited by my ability to write code. Agentic coding has raised the bar and the situation is now untenable! I've been playing with Obsidian for the past couple of days and I am astounded that I haven't used it before. It's insanely good and the community ecosystem is amazing. Highly recommended!

A huge shout-out to the believers in the $RIPS community. We just airdropped 1B tokens for season 2 and instead of dumping and tanking, the value is surging! 2026 is going to bring new content, new game modes, and much more value to our Rips fans - @naz1188 and I are just brimming with ideas to reward the community for their belief in Rips! Happy New Year to all ❤️

I want to shout out to @dish, @linda, @dwr and the entire team and @skycastle for all the support, advice and love they've given us. We've come out not unscathed but in a much stronger position to actually build and move forward. So much more to come now!

Working on AI Agents forced me to lean into AI for coding in general, which has been a great thing. Cursor+Claude is a great combo, especially the new MCP support. One thing its really highlighted for me, though, is that AI is not ready to replace developers at any level. You need experience to guide and understand agent-produced code. The only way you get that experience is working your way up through the trenches. AI doesn't replace truly understanding how systems work. It does give you a huge productivity boost though!
