A year ago, Camil Camil and I met at my house, never imagining we were embarking on a journey that would bring us here: our first album together, OWN COMPOSITION. A sonic journey through ambient vocal chaos, a subgenre we created to describe the fusion of electronic landscapes and ethereal vocals. The album is composed of nine live-recorded tracks, the fruit of a process of vocal improvisation and generative music. I have been very active experimenting with simulations—especially fluid simulations—for a project I was working on with Estudio Termica. But while looking for an object to interact with the fluids, I thought about making some rocks as well. However, I ended up getting lost for days working on a generative algorithm in Houdini to produce them procedurally, and I think the result is worth showing.
