Some of you know me as a singer-songwriter, but many don’t know that I’ve had an alternative rock band since 2009 called “Apollinaire.” We’ve recently recorded a new release, a 4-song EP that I’ll be sharing with you soon. So, to give you a taste of my band’s sound, I’m sharing this song called “Mujer de los suburbios”—it was recorded over 10 years ago! Good morning, friends. I want to share with you this cover of a relatively new song, a modern bolero. I love classic genres such as bolero, tango, etc. I think it's timeless music that's always a pleasure to listen to and usually has tragic or melancholic lyrics, like the blues, for example. This song is called “La Distancia” by an artist I admire a lot, Manuel Medrano. I hope you enjoy it.
