Canelo: A Song for My Dog Gm friends. When my mother died, it was a huge blow to everyone at home. My dad bore the brunt of it in the end; he was the one who would carry the heaviest burden of loneliness. Time passed, and we were given a Golden Retriever whom we named "Canelo." This dog quickly became like another son to my father; it was so rewarding to see my dad smile again, and Canelo accompanied him everywhere. Sadly, Canelo got sick, and like everything under the sun, he left us too; he had an illness we couldnāt cure. Another blow for my dad and for all of us. I cried like a child again, but I wrote this song for him, in gratitude for his love and his unconditional devotion. I dedicate this to everyone who has lost a pet or a special loved one. š¤

ITAP in the drizzle. It looks like itās going to be a rainy, cloudy day today. I hope you all have a wonderful day, and if youāre having a rough day, well, not every day can be a good one, and even on a crappy day, thereās always something to learnāyou just have to figure it out, for better or for worse.
