In an age many describe as resembling the trials foretold about the Dajjāl, confusion spreads, truth is contested, and courage is rare.
Imām Ali Khamenei stood firm in moments when many preferred silence. He spoke consistently about resistance, about dignity, about the oppressed, and about the necessity of unity within the Ummah. Whether one agreed with every position or not, few can deny that he lived with conviction and carried the weight of leadership without seeking luxury or retreat.
He did not live as a king surrounded by indulgence, but as a leader shaped by struggle. His influence extended far beyond the borders of Iran, and many across the Muslim world saw in him a symbol of defiance against global injustice.
His passing does not erase his voice. Those who stand for what they believe to be truth do not disappear; they transition from the visible world to the unseen, leaving behind legacies that continue to shape history.
The Ummah feels shaken, and perhaps it should. Moments like this remind us that leadership is a trust, courage is costly, and the future will demand resilience. Trials may intensify before relief comes. Such is the pattern of history.
We do not rejoice at death, nor do we reduce legacies to mockery. We ask Allah to judge with perfect justice and to reward every sincere effort made in His cause.
Grieve if you must, not only for a leader lost, but for the weight of responsibility that now rests heavier upon the Ummah.
Peace and blessings of Allah be upon you, Imām Ali Khamenei
