Big $BASE update! 🚨
It only tracks the fees you paid on the $BASE chain, not on the Zora chain.
I see many of you have less than 0.01 ETH in Base fees paid, and it may look very low.
But don’t forget…
→ Base gas fees have been very low since the beginning.
→ Most transactions cost less than $0.10 in gas, so you can easily make hundreds of transactions while spending only around $1 in total fees on the $BASE chain.
One hidden gem. Think wisely. 👀
→ Zora fees also count toward your Base fees.
• Because Zora is part of the Base ecosystem.
• So if you minted NFTs on Zora before, the fees you paid there also count toward your $BASE chain fees. 💯
• The only problem is that you can’t track the fees you previously paid on Zora.
→ If you minted hundreds of NFTs on Zora by paying around 0.000777 ETH per mint, those fees are also counted.
Remember, you had two options to mint:
• Base chain
• Zora chain
Many people (including me) chose Zora because it was cheaper and easier.
