When facing boredom, people usually react in two ways:
One, they scroll social media at random — and end up being influenced or manipulated.
Two, they deliberately make themselves busy, even showing off how busy they are.
But in truth, both are the same — being led by others.
Resisting boredom is truly hard — because it requires knowing what you really want, which is a question of values.
Seen this way, boredom is a warning.
