DeepMind announced it has used AlphaEvolve tech for a year. This lets its AI, Gemini, improve itself. The new self-evolving version of Gemini has made mathematical discoveries. These discoveries were too complex for humans to achieve.

Many thanks to the warpcast team for creating this MINI APP Warpcast tool. It is a very good tool for those who know how to use it well. 

But I'm tired of seeing a lot of mini apps that are only dedicated to take your money. 

Some people don't realise it but I've seen more than 1 mini app that is just for the farm and taking the community's money.

I once watched a film where an industrialist in the 70s or so was marketing his invention to gentlemen and ladies of that time. He argued that making use of the invention would save time and drudgery, allowing the people to pursue other leisure activities and more fulfilling work. One young man told him that when that is done and he purchases the machine, he is no longer working for himself but working for him (the owner of the invention). 

So, even though these machines will reduce drudgery, create job opportunities and eliminate our exposure to dangerous tasks, it will benefit the bourgeoisie more. They own the resources and stocks. We would end up working for them by purchasing their invention that does our work for us. This means we are working for them indirectly. This will only widen the wealth gap

Do you believe that robots like Tesla's Optimus are going to <liberate us from drudgery and dangerous tasks and create job opportunities>? Do you believe that <the goal is a harmonious cycle of ever-advancing robotic workers and AI brains that generate more productivity, more science and more wealth, freeing up humans to pursue both leisure activities and more fulfilling work>?

The Washington Post is doing blatant industrial marketing here. Robots will not be a shared resource, they won't belong to <us>. As always, they will only benefit the 10% of society who own stocks in robot-making companies. New <fulfilling jobs> won't be for us either. The high cost of college, especially in the US where the public school system is being dismantled, means that the new high-skills jobs will be limited to the children of the same small societal elite who can afford private colleges.

I was long time worried that only a major AI disaster, taking millions of lives, can unite us for AI safety. But I may have been too... optimistic. Daniel Faggella argues that the event called "AI Hiroshima" may not lead to global safety agreements. If the media blames an insignificant group of "terrorists," large nations will likely ignore AI safety treaties. It’s will be even tougher when superpowers like the US or China push aggressive AI. Dan Faggella's simulation of different scenarios showcases the different levels of disasters that might occur from different perceived causes of AGI disasters. It is an "IF statement" kinda situation where the response to the disaster will be determined by the perceived cause of the event. 
This is valid considering the power tussle between the world powers (USA and China).

Lately, especially during the new administration of Mr Donald Trump, it seems this power or weapon tussle has shifted from between the USA and Russia to the USA and China. Already, we can notice the competition going on between the two countries on who owns the most advanced AI. So, they are competing against each other to come up with the most advanced AI without making room for AI safety and that is dangerous. 

Like I suggested last year, let's not wait for when such happens before we start ramping up solutions and uniting together for solutions. We wouldn't want such happening just to prove who is more powerful.
