being a week in sf and i'm bullish on farcaster as a network. most people are fraustrated at twitter and have no alt. they often quote wanting fc like features eg gated communities but i feel fc has a marketing problem where it's only seen as a place for crypto (within that eth/base) folks to hang. maybe merkle needs to hire some dev influencer/bay area mainstream tech types 🤔

eg this ai eng conference would've been amazing for both fc and the conf organizers. that bridge needs to be built

n=3 but til many founders working out of solana office/community in sf don't even know that fc has sol support. they think it's some eth thing that's now a base maxi thing and that they cannot endorse base b/c have solana bags and yayy solana. this round of crypto founders feels shallow/weak at best and have little funding

It’s a completely different world. X monitoring creators last year created a slop/bait apocalypse and that meta is still playing out. Over here it’s just people talking about what they care about earnestly

my spiciest idea here is to duplicate whole app, drop wallet, call it Starling or something, launch parallel network that’s less crypto heavy but still on crypto rails
