What Elon Musk is doing right now is dangerous.
Whether you support Donald Trump or not, he is the duly elected President and Commander in Chief of the United States.
Elon is using his vast platform and influence to spread misinformation, undermine democratic institutions, and interfere in American politics and not just in America, but globally.
He seems to believe that because he’s popular or powerful, he has the right to challenge legitimate authority, even going so far as to hint at or incite action against the President.
Let me be clear: I am not a fan of Trump, but the American people chose him through a democratic process. No private individual no matter how rich, famous, or influential has the right to subvert that.
If you’re supporting Elon because you think he should be the one calling the shots in America, it’s time to stop and think harder about what democracy really means
