Hard truths:
1. Crypto isn’t dead. It’s grown massively. The infrastructure, tooling, capital everything is stronger. people are disappointed not because crypto failed, but because their favorite chain or niche product didn’t get adopted
2. FC isn’t failing because the world doesn’t care about crypto. It’s failing because the architecture was elitist from day one.
Degen was fun but let’s be honest, it was designed around social status. If you weren’t early, didn’t have high FID, or didn’t interact with the right people, your chances of earning were slim. That’s not “community.” That’s gatekeeping.
3. Jacek killed the best momentum FC had. Degen went from fun and spontaneous to over engineered and inaccessible. Suddenly it wasn’t about tipping people for cool posts it was about scoring, FIDs, and high-level discourse. The fun was lost.
