Way too hard on memecoins imo
They are like prediction markets for softer things like social coordination, cultural trends, anything that can’t be neatly resolved into defined outcomes.
Hard to say they were ever trying to “tell the truth” in the way PMs are
Yeah they are usually heavily manipulated. Because the things they are tokenizing are heavily manipulatable. PMs have their own issues too.
