No matter how bad you want it to work.... how deep you love them... how much history y'all got... You can't be the only one fighting for it. You can't be the one doing all the fixing, all the forgiving, all the figuring it out. That kind of love will wear you out Because love shouldn't feel like you're trying to convince someone to stay It shouldn't feel like you're begging for effort. If you're the only one holding it together, then it's already falling apart. Love doesn't last just because you won't let go. It lasts when two people keep choosing each other, not just in the good times, but in the hard ones too
