I just got a phishing call for my Google account and I was curious what their methods were so I played along until they sent an email from another domain but surprisingly they were using Google features to act official which wouldn't surprise me if this tricks a lot of people... OOF 😅 They attached other Gmail accounts to my email as a recovery email, had my phone number to send the codes too from those accounts to look like it was my account 😏 Overall, data breaches suck and thankfully my Pixel also warns me "this call is sounding sus" I also use security keys so not like anyone would get that far anyway! 😇 Unrelated pic 💜
