It's one of those things they promise every campaign, but they really just mean corrupt business as usual and special deals for their developer friends. But I'm not a New Yorker just talking away from a distance so don't mind me ๐Ÿ˜‚

You may be right that his corrupt policies may be easier to pass in America because we're the land of bribery but I doubt it would help anyone get housing.

Extremely wary of any "we're so back" sentiment right now, with the markets and with politics generally. The bombs are still dropping right now. The US / Israeli invasion of Iran is pushing them towards full scale war. Trump promised days or weeks of more bombing on Iran with US weapons. People are underestimating how dangerous the situation is right now. This is still developing. Fingers crossed for peace as always. Hope you all are safe and well.

Rubio's statement was just a flat lie, the US is clearly fully involved, Trump already promised more US weapons would keep landing on Iran for days or weeks. I think people who expect de-escalation and a deal here from Iran are living in an alternate reality. The bombs are still dropping. They are unfortunately forcing Iran to war.
