MY £200M DEAL negotiations are under way 💫🙌!
😅 I’ve signed an NDA so can’t reveal who, what or how - but once the investment has been made then of course I can tell you more..or you’ll hear all about it from the press 🙌.
✅ In the meantime here are some tips for investors and fund managers negotiating with company founders:
❤️ You are planning to be in a long term relationship here (at least 5 years), so empower the founders rather than disempowering them in negotiations.
❤️ Make yourself the “money magnet” - I’ve told the founders literally anytime they need money for a new venture in future, I would be happy to be the one to raise it..
❤️ LEARN what the highest values are in the founding team and make sure your efforts only help steer them in the right direction.
🤩 REVERSE ENGINEER the EXIT as best as possible…for instance I want to see this investment exit at least £1.5Billion…
So every move we make now I will ensure it allows this to occur..💫
