By 1917, over 20 aircraft factories had opened in the Russian Empire, producing 5,600 aircraft. ATTENTION!!! 5,600 aircraft in 6 years, despite the fact that we had never had aircraft before. Even Stalin's industrialization hadn't achieved such records. Moreover, we were first not only in quantity but also in quality. For example, the Ilya Muromets, which appeared in 1913, became the world's first bomber. This aircraft set world records for payload, passenger numbers, flight time, and maximum altitude.
