I (possibly) suffer from apathy so much that it seems less a problem and more a personality trait. Disinterest and lack of concern being something to do with losing connection with my heart and true desires. I was reflecting earlier on the concept of 'love'. How it is goal, God(dess), central ethical compass for many people. How it gets bandied about in song, distorted by advertising. Where does money fit with love? And what does any of this have to do with apathy? I often feel quite lost in the life I am living, disconnected from understanding my true needs, and apathy springs, I think, out of that state of confusion and dejection.
