Heading into *Doom: The Dark Ages*, I thought it would be a great starting point for the series. Despite my love for high-octane first-person shooters, *Doom* and its 2020 sequel, *Doom Eternal*, often grabbed my attention. While they may not perfect every aspect, I'll defend their unique charm and creativity. Plus, I still love to debate how good or bad the 2005 movie was—it's definitely a mixed bag.
