The internet works better when educational work can stay online without having to justify itself to an approval layer. Tech, science, history, art... Knowledge should be easy to publish, easy to find, and hard to disappear. That is still one of the healthiest ideas behind open platforms.

Going live gets a lot more realistic when the setup stops feeling like a side quest. A better live player, built-in live posts, and P2P support mean less friction between "I should stream" and pressing go. That leaves more energy for the show itself.

If you spent years building a catalog, redundancy is not overkill. Creators already back up footage, project files, and passwords. Distribution deserves the same mindset. Having your work live in more than one place gives you a little more control when platforms get unpredictable.
