Previously used the view ui framework so coming from using xml for ui to only use kotlin is a breeze. It is far more easier & faster to do many things (complex ui, animation apis are awesome). The tooling is a bit lagging behind, i'm usually using Android Studio Preview to have the latest improvements.

Also some debugging features are only available on recent Android versions, so it can be annoying sometimes to debug on "not so old" devices
