I was astonished by the hefty energy expenses after moving into a charming but inefficient ancient property. I adopted energy efficiency because I was tired of cold winters. I switched incandescent bulbs for LEDs, plugged gaps, and added attic insulation. My energy usage changed as a result of these adjustments, which also made my house cozier and reduced my expenditures.
