that same year CZ sold his house for 1,500 BTC, Vitalik rolled out the Ethereum public crowdsale/ICO and raised 31,591 BTC worth about $18.4 million at the time when BTC was trading around $500–600
ETH tokens sold for roughly $0.31 each
