OKX, a cryptocurrency exchange, has been fined €2.25 million (approximately $2.6 million) by the Dutch Central Bank (DNB) for providing services in the Netherlands without a valid registration. The fine covers compliance failures from July 2023 to August 2024, before the EU's MiCA regulation officially came into effect. OKX stated that the issues have been fully resolved and stressed that the move will not affect users.

Whale-driven rallies often show concentrated buying by a few wallets, visible through on-chain data. Exchange inflows/outflows reveal when whales accumulate or distribute. If trading volumes spike without corresponding growth in active addresses, the move is likely whale-driven. Social sentiment usually lags in these cases. Retail-driven rallies instead display broader participation. To avoid traps, traders should watch whale wallet clusters: if accumulation aligns with fundamentals, it’s bullish; if not, corrections often follow.
