Banghwasuryujeong is the name of the Dongbuk Tower among the four towers in Hwaseong, Suwon. This is a corner tower built as a military command center in the northeast of Hwaseong when Suwon Hwaseong (historic site, designated in 1963) was built in 1794 (the 18th year of King Jeongjo's reign).
