I think the main issue has been the UI/UX & the network stability. A client side application will allow for a simplified UX as reliance on data centres is not sustainable/ethical as the only option. Alternative DePINs like Ethereum Swarm offer a truly decentralised solution-including use of a bonding curve for MM BZZ
