Last week, I gave a lecture to a group of 18-20 year old Baret Scholars from ~30 countries about the Constitution, comparative governance structures, and the future of governance mechanisms. We even had our own "Constitutional Convention." The students had amazing perspectives and questions. Very happy to say that the next generation is very sharp and thinking big. We talked about meta-governance, the evolution of the Constitution, and the historic novelty of a "decentralized government." We also got to talk about weird stuff, like futarchy, liquid democracy... and yes, ConstitutionDAO. I was blown away by how engaged they were for 80 minutes. Afterwards, they got to learn more about American politics from former Under Secretary of State Richard Stengel (and former President of the National Constitution Center)
