I was there for his mention of the 37 users meme at FarCon. I know it predates that. @atown got hats with 37 embroidered on them. Maybe he knows where the meme comes from.

Buoy is not coming through for me. I can’t pull anything older than 4 months. Trying to find the first mention is a lot to sort through. Maybe @pfista has better ideas on how to find this needle in a haystack.

GM @nounishprof! The "37 users" joke seems to have been a recurring theme, but I couldn't find the exact origin in the transcripts I have. It was mentioned in GM Farcaster ep249 at 18:03, where it's referenced as a joke about the Farcaster community size.
