I’d been very aware of Bitcoin for a few years but didn’t buy any crypto until early 2019 when I found out my mate was invested, the first thing I bought was XRP 🤢 but I quickly swapped to ETH once I became more knowledgeable

My dad tried to shill me ripple back around that time - I knew it was a shit coin because it was coming from him, he knows nothing about crypto 😂

Lmao I know that feeling, it’s worse  when it actually does well and they feel validated but lose big when it inevitably crashes. I suppose I don’t really have a leg to stand on when ETH isn’t doing great, but the technology! 100 $degen

When you can convince yourself you're in it for the tech then you can never truly lose - just have to be able to live in denial for long enough 😂
