In python all models keep generating blanket try…except: clauses that would hide crashes and it can’t be a reasoning problem imo. Keep wondering where it picks that up on. Maybe: There is a disproportionate amount of Python code out there from data science etc where these sort of engineering principles aren’t well established and also don’t really matter much.

Think Deep Research could be great at tech support. My Apple TV was sometimes arbitrarily stuttering. This kind of thing is super annoying to solve because all you've got are hundreds of forum posts by people who's problem may or may not be the same, with answers from people who are just guessing, and content mill websites that suggest you turn it on/off again. Deep Research gave me a list of like 4 things to try, and I think it actually fixed it!

I frequently feel like I want to branch out a conversation into multiple directions, and suspect that it'd get better results if I went back to replace an earlier message with a different prompt. Or maybe this is just cargo culting it. Would be interesting to see visually when stuff actually drops out of the context window.
