Listening to Elizabeth Barlow Rogers and how she helped found the Central Park Conservancy in the 80s & lead a public-private partnership to create a lasting institution under the value of beauty. I recommend reading about this woman and the vision and work of Frederick Law Olmsted which Elizabeth worked to uphold.
