But if we want to spread this freedom to the world we'll have to make it accessible (yes, faster, cheaper, easier for users to navigate). This is what L2s were built for: Provide a layer, optimized for utility, to help mainstream this Freedom. Decentralization plays an important role in securing this freedom and the network. And just as it serves Ethereum on L1, it would be right to insist that it would apply on the L2s that scale Ethereum. There is (only) one L2 that has presented and is implementing a Decentralization roadmap.
