A) What’s your plan for progressive decentralization of 1) lead role, 2) selection process for lead role?

B) What does sufficient decentralization of the lead role look like to you right now?

Disagree. Everything we've done over the last 3 years with Farcaster is start centralized, iterate and then figure out the right way to solve decentralized.

Designing the system upfront creates rigidity.

Thanks for the response. 

My current perspective is that “something that works” in a centralized context doesn’t necessarily work in a decentralized context, so it’s not as simple as going A->B

Helpful pointers: responsibilities, authorities/permissions, accountabilities, rewards

1. Figure out something that works
...
then figure out how to decentralize it

Premature decentralization and complexity will significantly slow down progress.
