Some tips:
Try for 2 nights if going out of town. Nice to have a full day together.
Use more time to let people do activities together. Tie sessions to company values. Do arts & crafts in one session.
Keep it simple. Cook together, play board games, sports, bon fires, hot tubs, all of those have worked for us.
