Can I ask for a little bit of guidance please?
My daughter has a few health things going on so is really struggling to go into school.
This means I'm trying to home school which is not going well!!
If you have a kid with PDA you will know what I mean
Luckily she is a mega super boffin freak for all things tech, so I'm trying to lead her into coding and building via Scratch Jr, Scratch, Lua then...?

I love the month of December and the lovely change of mood as we turn towards thinking and giving to our family and friends and loved ones.
I am not rich. Hardly lol
Still I will try to carry that feeling into my digital world too every day this December and say thank you to the good good people making my world more meaningful ππ

Here is a key influential paper that finds you ALSO live longer too π
The Brown et al. (2003) Psychological Science study is often cited as the seminal paper showing a causal link between helping behavior and reduced mortality.
Key Findings
β 1. Helping others predicted lower mortality.
Participants who provided high levels of support to others were significantly less likely to die over the 5-year follow-up.
β 2. Receiving help did not reduce mortality.
Receiving support offered no protective effect once other factors were controlled.
β 3. The effect remained after controlling for:
β’ Age
β’ Health status
β’ Physical functioning
β’ Income
β’ Depression
β’ Marital status
β’ Health behaviors
Meaning the association wasnβt explained by βhealthy people can help more.β
β 4. Giving buffered stress.
A proposed mechanism is that helping others reduces stress reactivity and provides a sense of purpose and connection.
