A country that was “discovered” less than 500 years ago and then turned into a nation calls civilizations that are thousands of years old “third world.”
A country like Iran—the land of the first physicians, the first universities, the first charter of human rights, the birthplace of poetry and deep philosophy—gets labeled as “third world” by them.
Your wars did this.
Your invasions did this.
Your theft of oil and resources from this region did this.
You destabilized these countries, destroyed their governments, fueled corruption, and then had the nerve to mock the result—as if you weren’t the cause.
A culture that longs for the history, identity, and civilization of others dares to look down on them and say “third world.”
What a complete idiot.
