The other day, I was driving home when I saw a man standing by the side of the road with a flat tire. He was on the phone, trying to figure out how to fix it. I pulled over to help him and realized he didn’t have a spare. I gave him mine, and as I was getting back into my car, he waved and shouted, “I’m buying you a drink next time we cross paths!” It felt good to do something for a stranger, even if it was just a tire.
