Hello everyone! I want to share my experience with pentesting crypto startups (as you can see, there are a lot of them coming out lately). In short, it's not looking good. Almost every project has numerous security issues, but the most disappointing part is their attitude. Many projects simply ignore the reports, while others fix the issues I report but don't even say thank you. I didn’t want to write about this for a long time, but I’ve just had enough. It’s incredibly frustrating and infuriating to deal with such an attitude. The takeaway from all this is that crypto projects seem to care very little about the security of their users (and even less about the people trying to help by reporting issues in their applications). The only thing that truly interests them is money.
