My testing has been limited because I don't have a proper grinder for espresso yet, that said, so far I've absolutely been loving it.
I'm getting weird shot profiles that are somehow tasting good without a proper grinder, so if that's the quality floor, I'm stoked for what's to come.
One thing that's really cool is the amount of customization in profiling how the machine pulls shots, so I'm going to play around with some of the presets it comes with to see how they change the taste and workflow experience.
It heats up hella fast, like in under 5 minutes fast. The steam wand has a temp sensor so it stops at the given temp. It makes awesome microfoam, even while still figuring it out and shaking off rust.
It's built for at home use but genuinely brings cafe-level quality and can hold up to a lot of volume pressure for its price point and target usage. Plus, it looks beautiful and has a great low-profile and low-footprint on a bar.
I bought it to use for pop-ups because it seems so far like it can stand toe-to-toe with many coffee cart-friendly budget commercial machines at a fraction of the cost with far more machine assistance for min-maxing flavor and yield.
I'm thrilled, to say the least.
