Self-published writers of series - how long do you give it between book releases? I have book 1 of a trilogy ready to go, but am contemplating holding it back until I finish the trilogy so that I can release them within a few weeks/months of each other. Thoughts?

Got my manuscript back from my editor. Not as many edits as I expected (hoped?). Very light touch. Mostly proofreading with no real stylistic suggestions. A bit disappointed tbh.

Joined a writers' group on FB and already regretting it. I'm sure a lot of the advice is well-meant, but it's often delivered in very opinionated and judgmental ways. (Not advice for me. I haven't posted any work yet. Just my observations on other people's interactions.) Too many cooks spoil the broth?

Most published writers I know don't make enough on books alone. They have to make their livings teaching other writers how to get published. Publishing is a pyramid scheme.
