interesting case for me as a marketing and growth executive. i would call it synergy marketing, closely echoing ecosystem led growth.
this is about the recent integration of @zora creator coins into @baseapp.base.eth instead of fighting for the same niche customer, one app integrates the standard of another. @base.base.eth could have launched its own profile coins and taken fees from zora. instead, it gave creators the option not to spread themselves across many coins in different apps, not to confuse their followers, but to focus on content and distribution through familiar channels. the ecosystem gets less fragmentation, users get less friction, while the onchain value remains on the base chain.
that is what i call synergy marketing/growth.
ps: let me make a prediction. it is likely that over time base app will also get its own coinization similar to creator coins. this vector is logically tied to the launch of a native asset on base. ๐
