onchain AI networks have high demand for throughput + low cost reads/writes at scale they also might want to use permissions to ensure blockspace is only consumed in service of their network Base Appchains suit these preferences well

1) some builders don’t want varying UX based off type of end user wallet 2) some builders want their token to be exclusively native money on their appchain 3) latency and reliability are both still problematic for userops. takes too long to land and they get dropped too frequently during gas spikes. that said, my team is working on a new bundler that improves these meaningfully

hello builders one of our guiding principles at @base is to Build in the Open — examples include our open source / open standards work on op-enclave and EIP-5792, our contributions to Ethereum L1 like EIP-4844 and blob/acc, and our sharing of the ongoing evolution of the Coinbase Wallet app. in this spirit, here is a partial look at the Base Builder quarterly product roadmap for 2025 Q2. we openly share this as a look at what the Base Builder product org is focused on shipping — while leaving space for a few surprises still =)
