@nicholas
herdr is overrated.
the good parts:
- vertical list of open agents w/ easy renaming
- agent state survives restarts
- it can spin up new agents which you
- you can 'see' into the agents it starts if you want
- unread agents list surfaces what needs your attention
the bad parts
- semi-mouse driven UI is bad. try clicking in the settings menu. ux behavior is unpredictable
- all the shortcuts hidden behind ctrl+b. just searching sessions is absurd sequence: ctrl+b, w, /
- more like tmux with a ui than a true ui for agents. lots of finnicky invocations and shortcuts when agi obviates all of that
verdict: codex app still a better vision. will continue testing it
