Zama’s sealed-bid Dutch auction is way simpler than it sounds. You choose a price everyone can see, and a quantity no one can see — that one hidden number kills most of the usual auction games. Then it’s just: highest prices first, fill bids until supply runs out, and the last filled price becomes the clearing price. Everyone pays that same price, refunds go to anyone who bid higher, and anyone below the line gets their money back. It’s clean, fair, and pretty hard to manipulate — exactly how a Dutch auction should feel.
