Lifted the elephant garlic this weekend at the /allotment, and strung them up under the canopy of a tree to dry a few days before storing. Pretty decent haul this year!

It’s actually just regular garlic, aged into a  caramelized buttery spread. Perfect with any meat or veggie dish, especially beef ribs 🥩 You could even try it with a few of your giant bulbs if you’re looking for a super unique flavor

You can also buy it fairly cheaply in sainsburys or m&s.

Thanks! No, we haven't tried black garlic but I'd be interested to, for sure! If I ever run across any for sale I might pick up a few bulbs to give it a go!
