Zama’s whole design comes from two big breakthroughs: symbolic execution and threshold decryption — a way to make real FHE work on chains that can’t run heavy math natively.
Symbolic execution lets the chain verify encrypted computation without actually doing the computation, and threshold decryption spreads trust so no single party can unlock the data.
It’s a clever workaround that turns “impossible on Ethereum” into “yeah, we can do that privately on-chain.”
