I don't like how in crypto my transaction data is open to the public. There's nothing decentralized about this.

In most cases nobody knows your wallet address represents you. If it wasn’t public it would have to be stored somewhere and controlled/ overseen by a private entity (ie the credit card companies holding onto that info and deciding to do whatever they want with it) and theirs actually nothing decentralized ab that
